Install Notes: 3.4.5 Commercial

  • Ensure that you download all KnowledgeTree Commercial components:

1.download KnowledgeTree Client Tools for Windows 

Upgrading to KnowledgeTree Commercial 3.4.5?
The 3.4.5 release does not require an upgrade to KnowledgeTree Client Tools for Windows. 
KnowledgeTree Client Tools 3.4.3 will function as normal with the 3.4.5 server.

2.download KnowledgeTree DWI Service - optional

3.download KnowledgeTree Commercial (SMB/Enterprise, or Enterprise Trial) License

4.download KnowledgeTree Document Management System (server package)

  • Ensure that you install all downloaded KnowledgeTree Commercial components:
  1. install KnowledgeTree Document Management System (server package)
  2. install KnowledgeTree Client Tools for Windows (if required - see Note above for Upgrades)
  3. install KnowledgeTree DWI Service (optional)
  4. install your License in the DMS Administration module of KnowledgeTree's web interface
  5. configure a connection from KnowledgeTree Client Tools to the KnowledgeTree server

  • KTC-283 - (Windows): When creating a folder with an apostrophe (') in the folder name (e.g. Admin's), the folder name is created with a backslash (/) replacing the character (').
  • KTC-285 - Bulk Export produces the following error message:

Defect Repairs

KTS-2725: Archived document should not be found using PropFind.

KTS-2723 The Search Portlet is not displaying in the browser view.

KTS-2706 Fatal error with in the workflow move document action. Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getpatharray() in /srv/www/html/3.4.3/plugins/ktcore/KTWorkflowTriggers.inc.php on line 513

KTC-276 - When performing an 'Import from Server Location' action, files were uploaded in the incorrect folder structure.

KTC-275 - When uploading files using 'Import from Server Location', files were moved instead of copied to the repository. The fix was to allow deletion of only the temporary files that are copied to the repository. 'Import from Server Location' copies the files off the server without uploading them.

KTC-274 - When uploading files from KnowledgeTree Explorer to the KnowledgeTree repository, all files had a size of 0 KB after upload. To resolve this issue, a 'temp_file' was added to the options array for the documentutil add() function in the WebDAV PUT function.

KTC-264 - LDAP was not working with upgrades.
