Introduction

The KnowledgeTree framework is comprised of a number of components that fit together to provide a highly customisable environment. This section will only document parts of the framework that relate to the GUI component of KnowledgeTree.

Variables

Various components need to reference variables stored in SESSION or REQUEST arrays.

Dispatchers

User Interface Dispatchers are of the bases of the KnowledgeTree framework and is used to control the flow of control within the framework.

Registries

Dashlets

Dashlets are 'mini panels' that appear on the dashboard.

Portlets

Portlets are 'mini panels' that appear on the left of the browse screen when traversing the KnowledgeTree repository.

Columns

Custom columns can be defined to allow for extended information to be displayed columns.
