KnowledgeTree Office 2007 Add-in 1.0.0 Beta2

The KnowledgeTree Office 2007 Add-in (Beta) is a plugin for KnowledgeTreeLive and KnowledgeTree on-premise that allows you to access access documents stored remotely in the KnowledgeTree repository, and provides access to KnowledgeTree's revision control system and metadata layer, all from within the following Microsoft Office 2007 applications:

How to Upgrade

IMPORTANT

If you are UPGRADING from KnowledgeTree Office 2007 Add-In 1.0.0 BETA 1, you MUST first uninstall KnowledgeTree Office 2007 Add-In 1.0.0 BETA 1 through Add/Remove Programs; then, proceed with this installation. See 'How to Install'.

How to Install

Requirements

You will need the following:

KnowledgeTreeLive account; OR, KnowledgeTree On-premise
Windows client machine
Microsoft .Net Framework version 2.0

To install Office 2007 Beta 2,

1. Shut down all Microsoft Office applications.

2. Run setup.exe to install application.

Important: The KnowledgeTreeOffice2007AddIn-1.0.0 BETA install package includes three files: KB908002 (a required 
Microsoft patch), setup.exe, and KnowledgeTreeOffice2007AddInSetup-1.0.0-Beta.msi. You MUST run SETUP.EXE to 
install KnowledgeTree Tools Office 2007 Add-In; setup.exe installs the patch (find out more about this patch at 
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908002). Do NOT run the .msi file 
(knowledgeTreeOffice2007AddInSetup-1.0.0-Beta.msi) as the patch will NOT be installed.

3. When prompted, enter the server details (URL):

For KnowledgeTreeLive, use the following format: 'https://live.knowledgetree.com/<accountname>'
For KnowledgeTree on-premise, use the following format: 'http://<url>:<port>, eg 'http://dms.acme.com:8080'. You may want to substitute 'http://' with 'https://'
