Overview

KnowledgeTree Hot Folders for Windows is a simple, high-volume integration interface for third party applications, such as back-office document imaging workflow applications and fax servers that are capable of writing documents directly to a Windows® file share.

Installation and Upgrades

Pre-requisites:

• KnowledgeTreeLive account or KnowledgeTree On-premise
• Windows environment
• Microsoft .Net Framework version 2.0
• If you're using KnowledgeTree On-premise, disable caching on the server

NOTE: When upgrading, first uninstall the old version of KnowledgeTree Hot Folders 
through Add/Remove Programs; then, proceed with this installation.

How to Install KnowledgeTree Hot Folders

1. Click setup.exe to launch the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders Setup Wizard.
2. During the installation, enter your KnowledgeTree login details:

KnowledgeTreeLive subscribers: Enter the URL to your KnowledgeTreeLive domain, including your account name; 
then, enter your KnowledgeTreeLive user name and password. 

KnowledgeTree On-premise: Enter the URL to the KnowledgeTree server.
