Community Chat (IRC)

KnowledgeTree has two Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channels on the Freenode network, irc.freenode.net.

Join our IRC channels for general help with KnowledgeTree, or just to chat with the KnowledgeTree developers and the KnowledgeTree Community.

How to Connect

You will need an IRC client to connect. If you have an IRC client installed, just click on irc://irc.freenode.net/knowledgetree to connect straight to the KnowledgeTree channel.

If you have not used IRC before, you will need to download an IRC client (There is a list here).

Channel: Freenode

When you start your IRC client, you will see a list of available channels, like this:

[dalnet, efnet, freenode, hybridnet, moznet, quakenet, serenia, slashnet, undernet, webbnet].

Click on freenode – you may need to register and choose a nickname; then, join one of the KnowledgeTree channels.
